 bber Conference IRC 2019 to the 3rd-5th September 2019.\n\nLocation: The O
 val\, London\, UK\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nIRC2019 is being hosted in the UK for the 
 first time in 18 years. The IRC is an annual global event with both a larg
 e technical conference and an exhibition. IRC2019 will present a full and 
 varied technical programme of original papers reflecting current research 
 and development within the rubber industry. The call for papers has alread
 y been launched with details about how to submit your paper abstract.  Sp
 onsorship and exhibition opportunities are also now available for the even

 he International Rubber Conference Organisation and the Institute of Mat
 erials Minerals and Mining are honoured to invite delegates to London\, UK
 \, for the International Rubber Conference (IRC 2019).\n\nThis three-day c
 onference will be a must attend event to learn about technical advances i
 n the global rubber market.\n\nThe year 2019 will commemorate the 200th an
 niversary of Thomas Hancock’s pioneering work with natural rubber in Lo
 ndon. His early attempts to find a suitable solvent having failed\, he us
 ed his knowledge of machines and experience as a skilled toolmaker to dev
 elop a mechanical method of processing rubber.\n\nLondon’s premier confe
 rence and events venue\, the Kia Oval\, will play host to IRC 2019. Situat
 ed in the heart of London\, the Kia Oval is one of the oldest and most his
 toric stadiums in the world. In the 21st Century\, it is now renowned as 
 one of the finest modern sports venues\, playing host to international and
  first class cricket throughout the summer. The impact\, style and history
  of a world class sporting venue\, makes the Kia Oval a truly unique locat
 ion for the conference.\n\nDeadline for early bird registration: 30 June 2
 019 \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nCall for papers\n\nOriginal papers will be invited to 
 be presented that reflect current research and technology within the rubb
 er industry in sectors and disciplines such as defence\, civil engineering
 \, mineral extraction\, biomedical\, sustainability\, adhesives\, sport an
 d leisure\, robotics\, transportation\, oil and gas. Other topics for disc
 ussion include environmental and sustainability issues in the industry as 
 well as innovations in polymer production\, the use of fillers and other a
 dditives in compounds and developments in vulcanization technology. In add
 ition papers that can help characterise or simulation tools that can help 
 predict a range of properties including component stiffness\, dynamic perf
 ormance\, fracture\, fatigue and abrasion as well as chemical degradation
