After an exceptional period of time, we are now happy to announce that the Swedish Institute of Rubber Technology 
(SGF) organizes rubber conference 1st of December 2021 at the Plastteknik fair, Malmö, Sweden. The conference attracts rubber technicians as from most Swedish and Scandinavian rubber companies. We expect to get 50 participants from Swedish and Scandinavian rubber industry. Speakers may attend in person or via link to the auditorium.
It is our pleasure to invite you as a speaker at our conference. Please send your abstract of maximum 250 words to . The deadline for submission is November 1st. Authors will be notified no later than November 15th. For further info please see our webpage www.sgf.se, which will be updated continuously. We hope you would appreciate this opportunity of presenting knowledge in the field of polymers and/or rubber technology to our technically skilled audience.

Save the date, December 1-2. We are planning for a conference and we are hoping that we will actually meet. The venue is the Malmö Fair and our conference is happening in conjunction with Plastteknik. We are starting the gathering at 10 a.m. on the 1st of December. The program is in the making but we are aiming for a full day of interesting presentations, of course.
Later, we will have an SGF dinner.
The next day, December 2nd, is a ”spare” day, in the current plan and can be used for visiting the fair.
Remember to check the SGF webpage for information updates regarding program, registration, fee, hotel booking etc. It will come.
The autumn conference that we held as a Teams meeting took place on September 24-25.
Even though many expressed that they missed the opportunity to actually meet, the parts of the conference that were possible implement, were appreciated.
Some technical difficulties occurred but only minor ones.

The autumn conference will take place on September 24-25. Remember to block your calendar. Now. Program is in the making and it will be interesting as always.
As you guessed, the conference will be held online and we will use Microsoft Teams for the event.
The program will be published as soon as it is ready. A link for joining the event will be sent to those who register for participation.

The conference planned the 7-8th of May is postponed until further notice due to what could be called obvious reason. The Corona virus is affecting us much more than we thought just days ago.
We will announce a new date for the conference when we have more knowledge of this outbreak and for how long ”we” will be isolated in our homes. We will also come back with an invitation to the annual meeting; most likely on skype or similar.
